2000 Harley-Davidson FLHR Road King
Launched in the 1994 model year Harley-Davidson Road King is the direct descendant, and the replacement of, the Electra-Glide Sport. Like the Electra-Glide Sport that it replaced, the Road King had hard saddlebags and a windshield but no fairing. One defining feature of the Road King was its hefty, retro headlight and shrouded upper forks, reminiscent of the Big Twins of the 1960s.

The 2000 Road King engine is an injected 1450cc Twin Cam 88B 45° V-twin delivering 67hp. The 88B ignition system employs dual coils unlike its Evolution predecessor's single coil wasted spark system (both plugs fire at the same time).

The '00 Road King delivers power to the road by means of a hydraulically operated 9-plate wet clutch, a 5-speed transmission and belt final drive.
