2008 Harley-Davidson FLSTSB Softail Cross Bones

The new Harley-Davidson FLSTSB Softail Cross Bones cut an aggressive profile of an authentic custom bobber. With a retro look Springer front end and other post-war era bobber styling reminders like a sprung solo seat, half-round rider footboards, and bobbed rear and chopped front guard; the latest of Harley-Davidson's Dark Customs the Cross Bones melds stripped and chopped custom creativity with rough, raw finish.

Powered by an injected 1548cc Twin Cam 96B black powder-coated engine with polished rocker box covers and pushrods and untreated fins, the Cross Bones delivers power to the road by means of a hydraulically operated 9-disc disc wet clutch, a 6-speed Cruise Drive™ transmission and belt final drive.

A gloss black painted Springer front end with chrome shock and springs, along with gloss black mini ape-hanger bars, cat-eye tank console, gloss black round air cleaner cover, wheel rims and rear guard supports further differentiate the Cross Bones from a stock Softail Springer.
